The rumors are true! Fear Fest Grounds is taking over Winthrop for four weekends this October.
This Halloween season, the Dominguez family is bringing spooky to Winthrop, boasting the ultimate Halloween experience. Their four-weekend Fear Fest Grounds includes three terrifying haunted houses with live actors, a kids-friendly house, a horror circus show, a foam party, jump houses for kids, games, food vendors, and fall photo opportunities for the whole family.
Fear Fest Grounds is not a Winthrop-run or sponsored event. Fear Fest Grounds is an independent group hosting their event at Winthrop.
The Dates
- October 9-11: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- October 16-18: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- October 23-25: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- October 29-31: Thursday, Friday, Saturday (Halloween)
Time
Fear Fest Grounds will be open from 5pm to 11pm, except on Sundays when the hours are 5pm to 10pm.
Location
The corner of Winthrop at Bloomingdale Avenue and Watson Road — located right next to the Winthrop Barn Theatre at 11349 Bloomingdale Avenue, Riverview, Florida 33578.
Tickets
There are two ticket tiers.
General Admission tickets are $10. Included in General Admission is all activities except the three haunted houses and hay ride.
The Mega Pass is $25 and includes the General Admission ticket plus entry into each of the three haunted houses.
Kids ages 2 and under are free to enter. Parking is also free.
Hay rides, food, and merchandise sold separately.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance, or by cash or card on site upon entry.
Vendors
Fear Fest Grounds is accepting applications for food and craft vendors to be part of the event.
Private Events
You can even rent the entire grounds for a private party or event. Call 813-765-2454 to inquire about private rentals.
